Well apparently I was wrong. This goat humper isn’t dead after all. He don’t look so good though.
His requirements for ending the war in Iraq seem entirely reasonable. I’m thinking he has been talking to Ron Paul, and decided the guy needed a little Mohammed in his diet. This lends the lie to Al Qaeda only fighting us because we are there,
There are two solutions to stopping it. One is from our side, and it is to escalate the fighting and killing against you. This is our duty, and our brothers are carrying it out,” bin Laden said.
“The second solution is from your side. I invite you to embrace Islam,” he said.
Appparently Dr. Paul leaving won’t fix this. Apparently we all have to convert to Islam Mr. Paul. So, you first. Embrace Islam big fella, because it’s the only way this war ends.

Yes, you the incredibly bright American people are wrong. All of you anti-war types, and bring home the war types have no idea what you are talking about. You think the administration is stupid for walking into this mess without a plan. I say, “yeah right”
They had a plan, because they knew exactly what we were facing, and what the outcome would be if we took down Saddam Hussein. They knew we’d be in it up to our ears for years, and would be virtually alone in the endeavor. they knew every pitfall and pratfall on the road to a democratic Iraq, and Dick Cheney at least has known since 1994.
So why really, if what he says here he knew all this time, did he recommend the current course of action? What possible reason could there be for him to advocate opening the Pandora’s box that is Iraq? Don’t say oil or money. He needs neither, and they don’t make sense. Thats just easy leftie answers.

Ron Paul recently reintroduced his Letters of Marque and Reprisal legislation that he first presented in 2001. It may seem a little bit outside of the mainstream, but here is why you should give it a second look:
This story is interesting to me. Not because I am either for or against, but simply because the mans Idea was stolen, changed, and used in a manner that I would think makes him cringe. Ron Paul had a plan for fighting the war on terror that didn’t include U. S. Troops going to far away places and hunting down terrorists. It was called the Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001. He presented it to congress on 11 October 2001.
Letters of Marque and Reprisal are authorized in the constitution and basically allow a government to authorize others to track down and kill those that are basically beyond the scope of a military application, i.e. terrorists protected by foreign governments. For a full explanation use this link.
what piqued my interest on this bad boy is that while the letters were never authorized upon Ron Pauls request, they have been being used in a manner of speaking. We are using private contractors in the war on terror. Without congressional authorization, and with no letters of marque being issued.
For shame you say? I know. I have proof to. George Bush has railed time and again on the war in Iraq being part of the war on terror. There are currently estimated to be between 120,000 and 180,000 private contractors in Iraq. How many of them are armed is not listed, but Private security contractors are generally armed in a combat zone. These contractors are from a number of countries around the globe, including the U.S. For lack of a better term they are mercenaries, and in many cases are authorized to perform combat roles. oh yeah, here’s an article you just must read if this interests you at all.. http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20070718/ts_csm/acontractors_1
That makes them extra-military forces authorized to conduct actions against terrorists forces in Iraq. Many of their firms receive financing from the U.S. Government.
No letters of marque, but if this is any different than what Ron Paul was asking for then it’s a shade of grey difference that can not be discerned by the naked eye, or the avid mind. To make it even better, these troops can stay even if we pull out our military.
Doesn’t it make sense then, that this practice be legitimized and expanded by the congress?

Which is what I heard him described as. Interestingly enough by a political blogger I tend to respect, overlooking the fact that he supports that loony middle aged man, Mitt Romney. You read a lot here about why I think Ron Paul is the wrong man for the job. You also read a lot here about what a pack of moronic orangutans the pauliacs are. You do not however read any particular disrespect for the man himself.
The reason for that is on so many issues he is dead right. Not the little ones…abortion, gun control, drug legalization, and all the other little niche issues that are rolled out every few years so we can delineate between the idiot and the cow dung that we have to choose from. On a lot of the big ones though the man is not wrong.
What kind of a hose monkey thinks we don’t need stronger borders?
Who in their right mind supports our current foreign policy agenda, and can’t find sense in a policy of non-interventionism? Of not going to war unless congress declares war?
Who doesn’t think our government wastes way to much money? Is it really more important to fight a war in Iraq than to rebuild an infrastructure that is aging as quickly as the population.
Do you really support the major trade agreements currently shaping the U.S. economic collapse? Don’t tell me about the stock market here you dolt. Tell me about Trade imbalance and deficits.
Further, if he didn’t couch it in terms of states rights I would wholeheartedly support this loony old man. My problem is I don’t think the states have any more right to dictate to my daughter whether she can have an abortion or not. It is, to all you idiots that are pro life…none of your business. It’s hard fr me to understand a party that is so much more concerned about the unborn than it is about the currently living.

Haven’t done this in a week or so. I’ve been to busy writing about inane crap to contemplate writing about the truly banal baloney…
well the iraqi parliament is leaving on their August hiatus. Like our congress, their vacation is far more important to them than their people are. What I really like is the almost afterthought at the bottom.

So much for honor amongst thieves. Michael Vicks co-conspirator is singing like a canary. It looks bad for Michael, but we shouldn’t rush to judgement. We should casually walk to it, as casually as he abused these dogs.

The Elect Billary campaign is insulted by the fashion article about ms. hillary’s cleavage. Like its a bad thing. Trust me hillary, you want me looking at your breasts and not listening to your words. Oh who am i kidding…I’m a nancy’s jugs guy anyway. Hillary couldn’t get my vote if she did a cirque du soleil act naked with the swedish bikini team.

I bet it doesn’t pass, but here’s another honest government bill. The only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t say the lawmakers name will be publicized with his earmark, and I think that would be a deterrant. It does make it tougher to keep an unrelated earmark in a bill though.

HoBama? I like it. Their little fued is going to distance them from the rest of the candidates, and just a coupleweeks after I said they would be the ticket for the dems, Newt Gingrich agreed. We should maybe do the butter/horsewhip thing again here.

ok, that doesn’t even scratch the surface, but I’m hiking slagcaster moulds up steps tomorrow, and I wish to go lie down and hate the idea of that for awhile. I didn’t mention the depths of human depravity stories I found. Lots of murder and death today. lot of dead children. Sorta ruins the mood.

The Bush Administration, in an effort to firm up the belief that we are not ending our interest in the security of the middle east is on the brink of a multibillion dollar arms sale to Egypt, The United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. To Keep Israel in its box, we’re discussing the stealth technology equipped F-22 Raptor, as part of a 3 billion dollar a year package of incentives.
Irans brinkmanship politics have created nervous neighbors, and the discussion to leave Iraq without completing the job has created some very skittish American allies. It’s hard to see how Russia can ignore the buildup of technologically advanced weapon systems like the J-DAm and the F-22 Raptor. They havel ong supported Iran’s radical government, and its not hard to project an increasei n the quality of weapons systems they will be intent on distributing to their long standing ally.
This is diplomacy. Do You like it? For those of you who don’t support Ron Paul, this is the one area I think he has it right. Selling advanced munitions to these countries is only going to create a much more dangerous Middle East for future leaders, and generations to deal with.
Congress is unlikely to block this deal. What they may do is use it to put pressure on the Iraq situation, but they really don’t want that to end either.

So the new hue and cry is the Republican candidates are scared to debate on YouTube. I for one do not blame them. I think from a strategic standpoint those candidates currently refusing to attend the debate do so with a level of acute awareness often missing in the politicians of today.
Before the debate has even started Mitt Romney is being accused of saying that he thinks it’s undifnified to be questioned by the general public. The fact that he said nothing close to this is irrelevant because YouTubes have a huge problem with reading comprehension, and think that cesspool the other night was a fine example of democracy at work. What he said was he thought (I paraphrase) the office of president should be held to a higher level than to have to be asked questions by a snowman. I concur. Ratings are important to CNN, and since it is their editors that chose the questions we have to assume that ratings came into play when choosing the snowman question. I’m quite sure one of the other 3000 questions could have addressed global warming just as well. Some level of decorum should be maintained, and lets face it, the global warming snowman was as much about ratings as the psychopath with the assault rifle.
Additionally, the benchmarks in Iraq debate will be in full roar in September, and this is almost certainly the reason those not electing to attend have chosen that course of action. Contrary to what this mullet has to say:
Added state Republican spokeswoman Erin VanSickle: “It’s an important debate in an important battleground state that just moved its primary to Jan. 29th. In other words, we have every confidence that they will attend. They can’t afford not to.” (same link as above).
While I’m sure Florida will be important, it always is, I don’t think being swamped with questions about their Iraq positions will be good for any of the candidates. McCain has chosen to attend, as has Ron Paul. McCain needs a metaphoric homerun to win, and Ron Paul is on the right side of the war issue. Hard to blame either of them. The rest are not desperate enough to go to Florida and be sandbagged by CNN.
It’s not about you tube, although the wretchedly insipid crowd hanging out in the political arena there are absolutely sure there voice is the only one that matters. What matters is that several little CNN gnomes will be picking and choosing the questions, and quite likely stuffing the clip box as they do so. It’s not hard to imagine some little editor having a buddy send in a sleeper clip that they can smear a Republican candidate with. How about in the interest of fairness we have a FOXNEWS/YouTube.com debate?
I’m not raising a conspiracy theory here. CNN has long been known for its softballing interviews with democratic leaders while hammering away at conservatives. It’s easy to se it happen when you think both liberals and conservatives are worng, but I may be the only person left that believes that. The debate for the democrats barely touched on Iraq because quite simply thats not news at a democratic debate. They all profess desire to be out of the war, and everyone knows they aren’t doing anything about it. The republicans on the other hand primarily support some form of presence in Iraq, and I would surmise that based on the timing of the debate, CNN has every intention of using the benckmarks as a club to wield at the candidates.
Smart move Romney, Giuliani, Thompson, et al. No point putting your head in a noose today in hopes of being reincarnated in time for the elections.

I’m not sure how much more succinctly he could’ve put it. “We should get out.” “Now.” This is the one shining light in the sky for Ron Paul. It makes him look head and shoulders more intelligent than the rest. While I’ll grant that his comment about Vietnam going better than anyone thought was a little insensitve seeing as how 3 million people were killed after our withdrawal, he is stilll right here.
Now I know I’m going to hear about the humanitarian catastrophe that will follow our withdrawal. Sorry, its going to anyway, and we can do the no fly zone thing again to limit it, and even provide air support from outside of Iraq. Either way, the fanatics are going to win this one for two reasons.
1. they are in fact fanatics.
2. this is in fact the Middle East.
See how easy that was? So why wait? why spend millions? Why have more of our young men and women killed? It makes absolutely no sense to prolong it.
oh wait? I forgot about “better to fight the terrorists there than here. ” You know what I have to say to that? “blow me.”
that’s right. “blow Me.” That is perhaps the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Do you really think us fighting in Iraq keeps some psychotic islamic dude from blowing up a bus in Poughkeepsie? Neither does George. Or Ron. Or Hillary.
Would you like to know the difference between those three? Ron Paul doesn’t need any big investors (he has Steve Forbes). George Bush has a lot of buddies making money off Iraq. Hillary wants to help her buddies make a lot of money off Iraq.
Plus, Ron Paul knows more about religious fanatics than either of them. He knows because, well, sorry Pauliacs…he kind of is one. The man talks entirely to much about his religous beliefs for me, and he do get that glazed over zealot look about him. Whether the righties like it or not we are starting to lean more and more secular, and people are beginning to understand that not believing in god does not make you a bad person. It just means you’re going to hell boys and girls.
Ron Paul, to far right for me, but right on about the Middle East.

The numbers are in. They have been crunched, and it appears the military supports Ron Paul. The numbers do not tell us why, but it stands to reason that people who choose to bein the military tend toward patriotic views, and Ron has that market fairly well cornered now that John McCain has done his typical step-on-the-dick campaign for president.
So what do the numbers tell us? I’m going to round way up (thats in favor of Ron Paul, pauliacs…climb out of my rectum. We’re going to call it 30,000 dollars the troops gave paul. If we just count the troops in Iraq, thats about 20 cents per head. Not exactly an overwhelming number is it folks? How much you bet I can find you 100 blogs right now crowing about it like it was manna from heaven? whoops, thats not the whole military though, and this counts veterans…woof…that blows…lets see….call it 2.8 million in the active and reserve, and lowball it at the same number of vets equals 5.6 million. Well folks…thats substantially less than a penny a piece. Damn, No wonder the blog is blowing up about this.
the irrepressive pauliacs are at it again. Don’t laugh at them. They get way defensive

Why Ron Paul is not a loony old man
August 6, 2007Which is what I heard him described as.
It is an unfortunate reality that I am not represented by the clowns on the right. or the jokers on the left. Ron Paul is currently the only candidate that should make sense to anyone in the middle, and unfortunately he is about as electable as a drag queen. More’s the pity.
This is not an endorsement of Ron Paul. I think allowing the young to opt out of Social Security is a stupid idea designed to appease his young voters. I think a whole host of his other ideas are the wrong cure for the current problem. What makes him better than the rest of the perfectly coiffed, properly crowned nitwits on that stage today was he at least recognizes the problems we face.
