Russia, China, and Iran to U.S. “butt out”

   The latest meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization  Ended today on the eve of joint Chinese/Russian war games in the Ural Mountains.  This years guest list included India, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan and other sundry nations in the area.  While the U.S. wasn’t specifically mentioned, calls to form a multipolar coalition to deal with international issues were obviously spawned by Russian and Chinese claims, not all that inaccurate, that America’s go it alone approach is doomed to failure.

   I guess what bothers me is that for political gain and energy stabilization, the Russians and Chinese are willing to do that which the Bush Administration is so often accused of.  Whoring for oil.  They are not truly seeking a new approach to cure the worlds ills, but are rather making an obvious show of force aimed directly at United States interests in the region.

  What we are doing is building the stepping stones to another cold war.   Ahmadinejad wishes to organize a summit to discuss energy issues with the SCO energy ministers.  The strategic significance of this organization is very apparent.  They intend to create an organization with enough force to counter western alliances, and OPEC nations.  Iran has what is considered a rogue government, even by its Middle East neighbors.  Shiite led, it’s Sunni led neighbors fear the coming cataclysm when we pull out of Iraq, and this organization may well be one of the reasons we haven’t done so already.

   Keep in mind that The Iranian Revolutionary Gaurd is thought to be in control of Iran’s WMD programs, and are in control of its surface to surface missile systems.  The reason I say keep it in mind is that the governments in Russia, tired of being downplayed on the world stage, and China, experiencing growing pains that won’t go away soon, are certainly doing so.  War by proxy is a long established practice of World Superpowers, and Iran is a great proxy in the Middle East.

   To counter this  The U. S. is busiliy arming its allies.  The latest deal to help keep Israel’s military on the cutting edge is for $30 billion over 10 years, and they are also pouring money into Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other friendly Middle East Nations.

   While on the surface I’m inclined to think that turning this whole mess over to the SCO is a good idea, I fear it would serve to weaken America in the long run.  What is Certain is that the SCO is growing, both in size and influence, and the new world order isn’t looking like anyone expected it would.  In fact, the new world order looks a lot like the old world order.  Superpowers glaring at each other over the war torn third world nations they use and cast aside.

Ron Paul should switch parties, and other schmoozed news

it was a long day.  It was a brutal day.  It had a lot of downs, and only one up.  I was not here when this happened.  I have however crossed that bridge hundreds of times, and it kind of bothers me that the end of this article is all about how there is no known link to terrorism.  Is that really where we are?  Any catastrophic incident has to be looked at in light of a possible terrorist connection?  They are now saying up to 50 cars in the river.

   Some new exercise guidlelines are out.  Basically it says if you have sex five days a week for a half hour, and sprinkle in a little weight lifting you’re good to go.  It also says physical activity is about as bad as smoking in regards to morbidity and mortality, so get your lazy asses up and go do some boinking.

   In the 70’s I remember this big deal being made about glasses from McDonalds that were made in China had to be thrown away because the paint had to much lead in it.  Well, it’s 2007, and  American companies are still putting you at risk by merchandising dangerous products bought from Chinese Vendors,  Almost a million fisher price toys.  Have your kids been putting any of them in their mouths?  Isn’t it time free trade with this country be reexamined based on risk to our population. 

here’s a good one on health insurance.  Did you know that in many states  you can make as much as 82K plus a year, and still receive federally funded health insurance?  Bet that pisses off those of you making 50K a year and paying for your own.  This includes adults with no children, but the program is called SCHIP and is intended for children.  I pay for my won and my kids, but I think I’ll go get me some poor people money from the government.  what the hell.

Britney Spears is now making death threats.  She threatened to kill two photographers.  That she intended to do it by making them smell her thong is only a rumor, but I’m pretty sure that would work.  Dumb young women are becoming an infestation in the entertainment world.  Isn’t there some way we can keep them from procreating?

so now we need more secret wiretapping?  The democrats are balking, but how much you bet it goes through, even though their base is dead set against it.  Get a clue on the left, you are as marginalized by the people you elected as are the people on the right.

Either Obama has caught a serious case of dumbass disease, or he has decided to move way the hell to the right.  Somewhere right of Dick Cheney, actually.  He is now threatening to invade Pakistan.  Someone needs to tell him to shutup and fast.

Less people get their political news from you tube, myspace, AND blogs than from any other source.  Over 60% of Republicans and Democrats say they would consider voting for an Independent candidate, and over 50% of each think an independent would be good for the country.  Are you listening Ron Paul?  Maybe its time to take down those faded and fake republican colors and run as a libertarian?  You say you are one, and the country seems to be ready.  Yeah right.

and thats it… i lugged 458 X 80 = 36,640 lbs during todays little 12 hour stint of hell, and my shoulders just now cried nuff.

How Ron Paul can win the presidency

  I know, you think I’m joking.  I should be.  Our society should be able to see through all the pandering his disciples are doing, but I really don’t think they can. They should be able to see through the political gamesmanship the two major parties are involved in, but if people were cognizant of it then we wouldn’t be where we are today.  Here’s just a thought on how Ron Paul could win. There are a lot of hypotheticals involved, but it’s better than his “I have no chance” plan.

1.  We suffer no major terrorist attack on our soil between now and the election.  This is important because as long as there is no attack George Bush’s policies will get no credit for it.  People wouldn’t give George Bush credit for pharting if he let a loud, disgusting whopper in front of the white house press corps.  As long as there isn’t an attack the democrats and Ron Paul take the edge.  I’m not counting Fred yet, because Fred isn’t counting Fred yet.

2.  The democrats nominate Hillary Clinton.  I think this is going to happen.  I knw all the newsies are gaga over Barack right now, but it is going to become all to obvious that he hasn’t the experience necessary to win the white house. Neither does his campaign staff.  Hillary would lose the centrists, and even some of the lefties.  She isn’t all that likeable.

3.  Rudy continues to go right.  His comments about only seating strict constructionist judges does not sit well in the center, and the right wing christian conservatives are not a large enough block to get him elected.  Right wing Rudy can’t win the nomination, and this would open the door for Ron.

4.  Mitt continues to be mormon.  i know it shouldn’t matter, but we live in a very bigoted society.  If you are different we hate you or fear you, and that isn’t going to change before 2008.  I can’t see Mitt repudiating his religion, and he shouldn’t.  It’s his albatross though.  You’ve never heard a politician say “we have to get out the mormon vote.”

5.  Ron doesn’t do anything incredibly stupid.  His borderline stupid statements won’t kill him with the middle class.  They are discouraged, in debt, and watching wages decline versus inflation.  They see themselves being vut out of the American Dream by politicians that squander their resources at an alarming rate.  They watch as the rich get tax breaks, and the breaks they get don’t ever seem to make a differencei n their lives.  They are disenfranchised, and know that either party will promise them the moon, and give them more of the same.  This works for Ron because all he promises them is what they already feel is theirs.

6.  The war in Iraq continues.  Which it will.  Politicians make a lot of strategic mistakes.  The republicans are wrong to think its a winnable war.  The democrats are wrong to think they can benefit by allowing it to continue.  Ron Paul has the market cornered here, and if the two sides don’t change he will keep this ground to himself.  None of the other end the war candidates have any credibility left on the issue.

7.  Gas prices go up,  foreclosures continue to rise, and nothing is done about immigration.  The two parties should be ensuring that enforcement of current law is accomplished, and a compromise can be reached on the reform of immigration policy.

8. Instead of picking another libertarian style candidate, or a Republican to run as his vice president, he waits for Hillary to win and then chooses Barack.  Barack makes a nice addition to the team, and Ron doesn’t look so radical anymore.  Barack has to bend some for this to work, but I could see them securing enough of the left, a bunch of the right, and maybe 80% of the middle.

the key here is can Ron Paul compromise, or does he need to have it his way?  If he does he should head to burger king, because he will never win the election.

No problems here

    I keep hearing about government violating peoples rights.  It seems a bit overmuch to me that a few terrorists get their doors kicked in, and all of a sudden I should fear a gestapo attack on my neighborhood.  Not one of my neighbors (scumbags though many of them are) have been accosted by the thought police and dunked in a tub of water to find out what connections they have to osama, woody woodpecker, or the Hee Haw gang.  In light of all the privacy we willingly give up by sitting at our computers and pounding our thoughts out for the state department to sift through I don’t see what all the fuss is about.  Don’t act like you don’t know they do it.  If your intelligent, don’t act like you haven’t always known they’ve done it.   The information age is upon you, and reciting fatuous dogma isn’t going to change it, and trying to downplay terrorism as a stringent form of civil disobedience doesn’t fly either. 

   It would be nice to live in a perfect world.  in my perfect world I shall never have an islamic doctor while travelling in Britian.   I shall not hear one more story about a sex offender (ray gomez) committing his fourth offense.  I’ll never here of a second sexual offense against a child, because in my perfect little world people will find such a thing so reprehensible that they will not tolerate the individual ever seeing the light of day without a crosshatching of steelwire to look through.  Terrorists will fear being caught more than anything else because they will know deep in their little psychotic hearts that it will be beyond bad for them.  No loud music and reicitations of anti-islamic literature in my perfect world.  Nope.  psychotics would beg to be sent to abu ghraib.   I’m all for freedom of speech, but I think that freedom ends when you start killing the innocent.  BTW, Kudos to the brits.  Nice job on the turnaround time on the info.  You folks know your work.

    I know, I know  split the hare and talk about the innocents we kill. I have news for you cowpoke.  I’ve never killed an innocent in my life.  Hence my complete and utter lack of fear that government sanctioned jackboot thugs will ever kick in my door.  I think it would be really nice if the well intentioned nitwits that defend these misbegotten psychopaths were to sit and contemplate one question.  “how would I feel if my child, or wife, or husband were killed because my government didn’t try hard enough to stop these bastards?”  George,  I think you’re a chump on most issues, but thank you for taking it to these freaks.  Those who trade freedom for safety deserve niether.  I know I’ll here that from someone.  An eye for an eye you islamic freakazoid apologist.

    In London today, German luxury sedan maker Mercedes is getting a lot of free publicity.  Here’s some thougts about the whole attempted bombing issue that i htink should be thunk.

1.  Those pesky little funloving terrorists.  They parked one next to a joint that was having ladies night.

2.  The new job.  so PM Gordon Brown, what do you think of Tony’s old chair so far.

3.  there are 160 closed circuit camera’s in the haymarket/ picadilly circus area.  We worry about the patriot act.

4.  If Ron Paul were president, how would he handle this type of an event?

5.  What about Hillary Clinton?

6.  Say it was in Chicago?  What then?

7.  Are we sure George Bush isn’t responsible for it not being in Chicago?

8.   If its Arab terrorists, whats the message?  I’m betting it’s not we want light beer.  I’d bet it’s get out of the middle east Mr. Brown.

9.  Does this look professional?  Two bombs, made of fuel, propane and nails.  One picked up by a tow truck, and the other smoking on the street?  someone didn’t read the internet directions for making a fuel bomb.

10.  Would you still want to overturn the Patriot Act if you knew that one of these would explode on an American street each year?

11.  does this change your stance on Illegal immigration?  Would it be better to make them legal and identified?

I don’t think so.   I think the ones that one to blow up a bomb will try anyway.
